FORT CAMPBELL grabbed command early and set a rated pace towards the inside, handled some outer pressure through the backstretch, edged away under a light hold leaving the three eighths, increased his advantage under a ride in upper stretch, kept on under strong handling inside the furlong grounds, remained on his left lead and just lasted. FAST CONNECTION settled off the inside, edged up between runners near the half, angled out four to five wide for the drive, closed strongly outside runners and had his run fall just short. CLEARLY ARTEMUS rated kindly while saving ground, commenced a run after being cued near the five sixteenths, shifted out entering the lane, closed willingly but was out kicked between runners. STREET JETT , off last when lunging at the break, regrouped and dropped inside, edged up some nearing the far turn, swung out in upper stretch but lacked the needed rally. GLOBAL HEAT WAVE , three to four wide, was hustled along leaving the far turn but failed to muster up a rally. MY RUSSIAN stalked off the inside, remained close while three deep nearing the half, chased on past the five sixteenths and weakened. OLE MISTER prompted the pace outside the winner, saw that one get away leaving the far turn, failed to punch on soon into the lane and weakened.
