Footnotes
REGATTA BAY raced mid pack in an outside trip, rallied around the turn, assumed command and drew off in the drive under steady urging. STORM STRATEGY pressed the pace, assumed command between horses on the turn, led briefly, was outclosed and no match for the winner. MOONOVERMONTGOMERY bobbled a bit at the tart, pressed the pace three across, challenged for the lead on the turn, dropped back, leveled off and settled for show. FIRST CAPE improved position in an even effort. MUCHO MACHO CAM was crowded along the rail on the first turn, stalked the pace inside, angled out on the second turn, swung wide and lacked a bid. BRILLIANT CALL broke slowly, saved ground, swung wide entering the stretch and lacked a response. BUTCHY BOY was sent to the front, set a pressured pace, tired entering the turn and stopped.
