DR. NIKO pressed the early pace from the outside, then gained command on the backstretch and drew clear of the field, to win handily with no real challenger. ROYAL IRISH had no early speed away from the gates, then angled out down the lane and closed fast late to get up for second. D. A.'S FAVORITE stalked the pace early on, then offered a bid around the turn, but flattened out in late stretch, holding of for show. BERNDT MARSHMALLOW chased the pace early on, racing along the inside, then offered a bid down the lane but it was not enough. CRUE'S N CONTROL broke in a tangle, trailing early, angled in to the rail sharply, then angled back out down the lane with a mild bid. TEQUILA N' SALT was mid pack early on, racing on the outside, then offered a mild bid down the lane but flattened out late. PERFECTO got a brief lead racing along the rail early on, but dropped back heading down the backstretch. STANIEL CAY was in contention early, on the inside, but faded down the backstretch. SPIDERS REVENGE was near the back, on the outside and showed little.
