AZTEC EMPRESS set a pressured pace to the turn, drew off and held safely while ridden out. SAVE THE QUEEN chased the pace, couldn't gain in a steady bid and finished second best. CHAPARRITA saved ground to the turn, angled out to be widest in the drive, failed to rally and was along for show. BABY KRISTEN pressed the pace to the second turn, dropped back and gave way.
