Footnotes
CUTE DINERO QUEEN forwardly placed three wide, prompted the leader onto the backstretch, advanced and challenged midway through the final turn, took over entering the stretch, edged clear past midstretch then drifted out with a sixteenth to run, held the runner at bay late under steady handling. STRAWBERRY SUNDAE away in good order, showed the way into and through the first turn toward the inside, continued to set the pace up the backstretch and into the far turn, gave ground grudgingly to the winner through the lane, clearly second best. BROADWAY PEARL within striking distance toward the inside first turn, remained within contact of the pacesetter in the run up the backstretch, steered out to be three wide by late in the final turn, could do little with the top pair in the run to the wire. GYPSYROSELEE hopped to be off slowly, raced four wide into the first turn, angled in to save some ground and made little impact thereafter. CAJUN ACES fell back and angled in first turn, was always outrun.
