Footnotes
CALL MY BANKER behind the pace toward the inside early, two path midway on the bend, steered out to be four wide for the drive, overtook a rival chasing the leader past the furlong marker, late bid outside, fully extended to prove narrowly best. OUR FAVORITE SON slipped at the start to break back while bumping HURTS SO GOOD, advanced into a forward position while between foes, took over into the stretch, led late, gave ground grudgingly to the winner. OCEOLA in the second flight early, in some traffic between horses into the turn, angled out four wide into the lane, raced five wide upper stretch, staged a mild rally out in the strip to be up for the show in the final strides. MISTER CHAIRMAN forwardly placed outside, prompted the issue three wide through the turn and into the stretch, weakened late to be nailed for the show. HURTS SO GOOD set he early pace along the inside, weakened in the drive.
