CRUE'S N CONTROL tucked inside at the back, remained on the rail into the far turn, was on the move while angling four wide around the far turn, drew alongside TEQUILA N' SALT in upper stretch, dueled into the last sixteenth and dug in to wear down the runner-up. TEQUILA N' SALT bumped with inner rival early, stalked the top pair in the two path, challenged three deep and took over on the far turn, put away inner rivals late on the bend, came under threat from CRUE'S N CONTROL in upper stretch, resisted into deep stretch and yielded grudgingly in the end. ROYAL IRISH settled in the two path, moved into range on the backstretch, tipped three wide midway around the far turn, took aim in the final furlong, tried to rallied between the top pair but lacked room at the sixteenth pole and could not regain momentum once in the clear. BEAUDREAUX tracked from inside, got shuffled behind the a pair of frontrunners who were beginning to weaken on the far turn, churned on down the lane to earn a minor award but was unable to threaten. HERCULES N LOVE unhurried outside a rival at the back, moved up four then three deep on the backstretch, got floated out by the winner early on the far turn then angled inward, paused behind a rival late on the bend and tipped back out into the lane, then improved position down the stretch. BREAUCODE hopped slightly and got bumped leaving the gate, showed good early speed then dueled from inside, vied inside a pair of rivals on the far turn, yielded into the lane and weakened. HIT SQUAD broke in and bumped, bumped outer rival while pulling early, stalked around the first turn, went up to duel from outside up the backstretch, yielded late on the bend and tired.
