Footnotes
ARIES HONOR settled inside, then rallied for the place with a big gap to the next horse. HE'S A FINE BABY seized the lead from the start, maintained a short lead to the far turn under confident handling, then drew away as much the best in the stretch. DUE WE DARE raced in mid-pack through the first half-mile then lacked a rally. A TRUE TARGET settled at the back, saved ground, and mildly rallied to gain the third spot. RANDY DAYTONA tracked in second position while under a tight hold through the early stages, flattened out in the stretch, and did not threaten.
