PINEHURST (IRE) settled mid-pack, launched a bid with three furlongs to run, tipped out to the three path in upper stretch, and lengthened stride to win clear in the final stages. MONEYSTRIKE hustled and secured the rail position, vied inside, then dueled with EAGLE IN THE AIR through the turn, got the better of that one in mid-stretch but was outfinished by the winner in the final yards. EAGLE IN THE AIR broke well, then was in the middle of the early pace battle, pulled away with MONEYSTRIKE through the turn, then gave way in mid-stretch. GARNET JUBILEE lunged at the start then was rank in the initial stages, moved up into the mix after a tardy start, dropped to last late on the turn, then re-bid in the stretch to improve. ROCK N ROLL BOLT took up in traffic early, was last into stride, went to the outside mid-way on the turn, came five-wide into the stretch, and was making steady gains while never a serious threat. METRONOME was close up in the early pace scramble, bid three-wide at the top of the stretch, then flattened out. DRUM BUNNY raced in the middle of the tracking group, was blocked turning into the stretch, then dove to the inside and made up a little bit of ground in the late stages. OUR PACT vied four-wide to mid-stretch then weakened. MITOLE'S LIMIT raced close up but wide, dropped back some on the turn, then was unable to threaten in the stretch. CIEL lacked early speed, then made a mild bid on the turn but was outkicked in the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
