HOT LEGS ROMOLO seized the front from the start, led the field through solid fractions, opened up on the turn, and kept on steady to the wire to win in a huge effort. HE'S CHARMING settled a few lengths behind the pacesetter, took up the chase late on the far turn, but was never getting to the winner, held clear for the place. TEXAS ADOPTER chased pace inside, kept to task late to hold third, clear of the rest. DR. NIKO unsettled before the start, broke outward at the break, took up and settled at the back of the field, was still far behind going into the far turn, launched a rally with three furlongs to run, swung six-wide into the lane, and passed more than half the field in the stretch. ASAASY raced in mid-pack to the inside, moved up some through the far turn, but could not sustain a bid. MOONOVERMONTGOMERY went five-wide into the first turn, tracked three-wide down the backstretch, then lacked a finish. BUTCHY BOY settled well behind and was never a threat. DEFTLY DONE settled near the back then lacked a rally. WAR DEPT CALLING tracked two-deep, gave way near the quarter pole, then tired in the stretch. STARSTUDDED AFFAIR raced in the middle of the struggle out field, then came up empty in the lane.
