Footnotes
STAR ROCK STAR away in good order, took command soon after, clear through the first turn through a soft opening quarter, continued set the pace through and equally modest half mile split, quickened into the far turn, showed the way into the stretch, responded when the runner up came calling when straightened for home, found more and displayed good resolve to prove best. GOOD AND STOUT forwardly placed while racing in the two path early, moved inside and advanced on the winner late in the final turn, shifted out a bit and tried that one from the outside in upper stretch, could not get by in the run to the wire. BONS TEMPS ROULE void of any speed for six furlongs, while just off the inside, angled three wide turning for home, lodged a willing rally out in the course to annex the show, no threat threat to the top pair. PEGASO broke back, also lacked any early foot, inside final turn, cut corner, improved position. WICKED SECRET off a step slow, moved up to race in mid pack while toward the inside, failed to make a serious impact in the drive. THEBABESLAYER prompted the winner for six furlongs from the outside, faltered through the stretch. CAUSEWAY BENNY in the second flight while racing just off the inside, came three wide for the drive, had little left for the final furlong in losing a couple of positions. ALLNIGHT MOONLIGHT saved ground when well off the pace first turn, continued back, three to four wide turning for home, nothing left. NATHAN HENRY off a step slow, moved up to race in the main body for six furlongs, backed up through the stretch. GLOBAL HONOR antsy in the gate, broke in the air, moved up a bit three wide in the first turn, was finished after a half.
