SIMPLEXITY (IRE) broke alertly, relinquished the advance the opening furlong, tracked the leader up the backstretch from along the inside, advanced and challenged along the rail second turn, shook off the pacesetter to be clear by upper stretch, enough left to hold off the runner up while drifting out a bit late. OPTIMUS KAT forwardly placed while three wide through the first turn, continued off the inside and raced in2nd best the three path through the final bend, came four wide for the drive, closed the gap on the winner nearing the furlong grounds but made little progress late. GOTTA KEEP HIM void of speed, dropped inside late in the first turn, continued to save ground up the backstretch and through the final turn, cut the corner to improved into the straight, not a serious threat to the top two late. C MAC DA BOSS off a step slow, rushed up from between horses to take over into the first turn, set the pace in the two path, allowed the winner the inside far turn, began to weaken when headed by that one while getting out a bit late in that final turn. KING ARTHUR RIDGE mid pack while saving ground first turn, continued one paced toward the inside, roused in the two path turning for home, lacked a closing punch. WOODS N WATER lacked early foot while three down to the two path first turn, continued in mid pack just off the rail, carried out four wide exiting the final turn, went flat through the lane. PARROT HEAD void of speed, floated out five wide entering the stretch, failed to muster a rally. NAPOLEONIC CODE raced in mid pack along the inside, continued inside far turn, got out late in the final bend caring a couple of rivals outward, gave way in the run through the stretch.
