MAKE HIM WAIT pressed the issue inside, fell back off the pacesetter into the turn, shifted off the rail for the drive, roused, kicked down that same rival to finish up willingly and to be well clear at the end. PEPPERMINT STRIPE broke early, set pace in the two path, shook clear into the turn, continued to hold a daylight advantage when straightened for home, could not match the winner in the late going. UTHINKSHECANRUN bothered at the start, settled in the second flight closest to the inside, had nothing for the top two in the drive, finished up clear of the others. ENTICING SPIRIT in the second flight while between horses, had little for the drive. HINT OF BOURBON in the second group while racing three wide, tired through the stretch. BACKSTAGE BOOGIE broke in, bothered UTHINKSHECANRUN, fell well back to trail, was never close to be always outrun.
