DAGWOODS LEGACY checked up in tight quarters midway on the first turn, settled in the second flight along the rail in the run up the backstretch, tracked the pace through the second turn, shifted out a bit and took over past the furlong marker, drew clear and maintained daylight to the wire under steady handling. DARE A D'ORO off a step slow, four wide through the first turn when well off the pace, continued well out in the course and was four wide again through the second bend losing ground to the leaders, set down when straightened for home, finished willingly to earn the place, not a serious threat to the winner. CAHILLS REDEMPTION in mid pack while off the inside, in traffic and bothered as the winner was looking for room midway on the first turn, raced with that one up the backstretch between horses, came three wide for the drive, displayed some mild interest to gain the show, not enough for the runner up position. ROYAL COAST in mid pack early along the inside, fell well back the second quarter, two path into the far turn, swung out four wide turning for home and was coming again late with some mild interest. FUND LAVENDER stalked the leader while off the inside, advanced and challenged that one in the second turn, got out exiting that bend and faltered in the run to the wire to lose several positions. MADORIA away in good order, showed the way through the first turn just off the inside, clear before a quarter, continued to set the pace, shrugged off a bid from FUND LAVENDER turning into the straight, offered little resistance to the winner when that one came calling at the furlong marker, gave way when headed. TIZ A RYDER in the main group while racing three wide, gave way in the far turn, continued to fade through the lane.
