TOP NOTCH PROTOCOL broke with the winner up front, pressed that one from the outside for five furlongs, fell back late in the second turn and into the stretch, roused. getting back to the winner late. DULCE LOREFICHE in mid pack while three wide, continued one paced off the inside second turn, idled through upper stretch, steered out late and finished up willingly to be closing the gap on the top two at the wire. LOUISIANA STAR broke out, was straightened to race in the main body while toward the inside, rank in some traffic far turn inside, was righted and continued to save ground to cut the corner into the lane, went flat the final furlong in lacking a closing punch.
