Footnotes
AIR SAHARA was allowed settle off the pace and the inside, crept closer three wide through the final turn, outside bit when straightened for home, disposed of the leader nearing the furlong grounds and kicked well clear under steady handling while drifting out a bit. TIZ A KNOCKOUT off at the start to be away a step slow, lacked early foot off the inside, in the two path final turn, shifted out for the drive and finished willingly to be in time for the runner up position, not a threat to the winner. CLOCKED slipped at the start and broke in a bit, moved up and prompted the leader from the outside, remained closest to that one up the backstretch, challenged through the second turn, gained the advantage entering the stretch, offered brief resistance to the winner soon after, proved no match for that one, caught late for the place. RAINY DAY raced off the pace along the inside, continued to save ground second turn when moving slightly closer, two path for the drive, not enough late for the show. JETTIES floated out four wide when off the pace first turn, continued outside, four wide again through the second bend, lacked a closing response. JOLLY GOOD TIME broke alertly, showed the way into the first turn just off the inside, saved ground onto the backstretch, continued to set the pace into the far turn, vied then gave way when replaced on the lead with a quarter mile to run.
