Footnotes
ANTIPHON away in good order toward the inside, showed the way through the first turn, dueled up the backstretch and into the far turn closest to the inside, disposed of the other speed late in the final bend and remained clear through the lane under steady handling. BEACH BLANKET void of any early foot, continued to race well back into the far turn while off the inside, came three wide for the drive, shifted out widest and lodged a late and willingly rally to be in time for the place. PARTY AT JAYS floated out to be five wide into the first turn, continued outside, four to five wide when mid pack through the second turn, floated out five wide into the lane, closest to the winner late, nailed for the place. CAPTIVATING STAR bothered into the first turn when TONTERIA clipped heels and came out, recovered and settled in the run up the backstretch, second flight in the two path into the far turn, moved inside, cut the corner into the lane and finished up evenly to be outkicked for the second spot. ARIES HONOR within striking distance while racing three wide early, continued to stalk in that position into the far turn, floated out four wide while still in contact with the winner into the lane, lacked a closing punch. DOUBLE STANDARDS made little impact while racing off the inside. TONTERIA broke with the winner, clipped that one's heels into the first turn, fell back to mid pack, then began a steady fade inside. RANDY DAYTONA asked away from the gate to move up outside the winner, dueled with that one the middle half mile and gave way late in the final turn.
