WHY NOT GRACE , off the pace while saving ground, was hustled along mid turn, made steady progress under strong handling and along the rail past mid stretch, moved to a slim lead in deep stretch and grittily prevailed. A COZY THING stalked the leader while rated along through the opening half, came under a ride mid turn, was fanned four wide into the lane, chased on past the three sixteenths, altered in, bid between foes inside the sixteenth marker and finished gamely outside the winner. COCKTAIL HUMOR broke a bit slow, recovered and accelerated to a clear advantage leaving the chute, set the pace towards the inside, drifted out to the three path into the lane, clung to the lead under a drive in mid stretch, wandered outward from there and failed to contain inner bids. VANILLA SUNDAE rated three deep stalking the pace, ranged up five wide under a ride into the stretch, chased on the left lead near mid stretch, drifted out and faded. FEELIN SO LUCKY steadied between runners early on, faltered around the turn and was eased through the final furlong.
