TOP MANIPULATOR came in bumping SUJO at the start, steadied when bumped by MATTHEW'S TICKET soon after the break, hugged the inner rail on the turn, eased out at the top of the lane, angled to the five path in upper stretch, remained on his left lead, took the command near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. BALLINACLASH bumped with SUJO at the start, chased the pace near the inner rail, launched a bid outside MATTHEW'S TICKET in upper stretch, brushed with that one in mid stretch, drifted out late and weakened. MATTHEW'S TICKET bore in leaving the starring gate, bore in soon after that, sped to the front, set the pace near the rail, drifted out in mid stretch and weakened. SUJO soundly bumped on both sides leaving the starting gate, steadied behind MATTHEW'S TICKET soon after the start, swung to the four path in upper stretch, angled in near the eighth pole, moved to the inner rail inside the sixteenth pole and rallied gamely. MAKE IT QUICK , carried out by MARGIE'S LAST soon after the break, chased three deep on the turn and faltered in the drive. MARGIE'S LAST bore out sharply leaving the starting gate then was outrun. An objection by the rider of SUJO against MATTHEW'S TICKET for alleged interference leaving the starting gate was not allowed.
