CERTIFIED LOVERBOY broke outward bumping and tightening NATIONAL LAW, corrected and pulled well clear early, controlled the pace in the two path, responded when put to a drive soon into the lane, kept on under solid handling to about the sixteenth marker then cruised home from there. NATIONAL LAW , a touch rank at the break, was bumped by the winner and pinched back soon after, regrouped and edged up to a forward spot while saving ground, crept closer to the inside of runners past the five eighths, was put to a hustling ride as the leader got away near the five sixteenths, gave hard chase from there and finished gamely to hold down the place. OMAHA OMAHA broke a step slow, dropped inside into the run into the first turn and raced well back into the backstretch, was shoved along leaving the far turn, worked outward through the drive, advanced inside runners past mid stretch and kept on with good effort. XCELLENT START , jostled soon after the start, dropped well back leaving the half, saved ground making progress leaving mid stretch and churned on to the wire. IN THE DANCE , three to four wide while pushed along through the backstretch run, swung six wide for the drive but lacked a bid. CROSSLAND , three deep stalking the pace, was under pressure exiting the far turn, shifted out a bit wider nearing the lane, lacked a punch and faded. SPOTAFREEONE prompted the pace under rating and between foes, edged up past the five eighths, was under asking between runners leaving the five sixteenths, angled five wide for the drive and gave way. Following an objection by the rider of NATIONAL LAW alleging interference leaving the gate, CERTIFIED LOVERBOY was disqualified from first and placed second.
