BREEZING UP edged up inside nearing the half and gained a stalking spot, angled out leaving the turn and bid three wide outside the leader, dueled on a slim lead from the head of the lane and dug in under firm asking to prove best. PARALEGAL broke inward, corrected and vied outside rivals before clearing, set the pace off the inside, was joined by the winner mid turn, dueled from there and kept on valiantly to the wire. CITY PANDA , forced in at the break, dropped off the pace and raced five wide leaving the far turn, was guided inside mid turn, came back out for the final furlong and finished well. LOU'S BIRTHDAY , taken up sharply at the break, regrouped and edged up inside into the turn, took closer order saving ground past the five sixteenths, pursued the top pair from there but flattened out very late. CANDYCRUMBS chased the pace, came very wide for the drive and failed to generate a solid run. RAPIDITY hopped at the break then bobbled outward, edged up between foes nearing the lane, angled out in mid stretch, failed to kick on and faded. DOCSGOTALLTHECANDY had speed then rated back off of the leader heading towards the turn, angled out and chased three wide between runners approaching the stretch, lacked a punch leaving the three sixteenths and faded. ENGLISH DADDY broke outward then stumbled and was checked, dropped back off the pace while his rider adjusted his right iron, lost ground four wide leaving the far turn and weakened. There was a stewards' inquiry into the opening sixteenth of a mile. No action was deemed necessary.
