GORDIAN KNOT bobbled at the start and broke a step slowly, tracked the early pace between rivals, got caught a bit in tight into the turn then angled four wide for the stretch drive, mounted a strong rally into the lane, took command in deep stretch and held safely in the final strides. GOODBYE NOTE raced close up to the early pace while outside of rivals, stalked three wide to the turn then took command at the three-eighths, led to the quarter marker then held off foes into upper stretch, dug in into the final furlong, was collared by the oncoming winner in deep stretch and was clear of the rest for second. INTREPID'S LEGACY broke awkwardly and was last away from the gate, settled inside early on then made progress approaching the turn, shifted out and gained three wide nearing the quarter marker, came within aim into upper stretch, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and was clear for third. RADICAL RIGHT tracked the early pace from the inside, was well placed to the turn then was caught a bit in tight midway through the bend, chased two wide to upper stretch, could not sustain his run to the final sixteenth and flattened out late. DEBIT CARD was forwardly placed away from the start then took back, trailed into the turn, swung widest to upper stretch and finished evenly. ALL THE HARDWAYS was unhurried away from the gate, saved ground into the turn then navigated traffic nearing the quarter pole, altered course while behind rivals into upper stretch, churned on into the lane but could not muster the needed late response. MAGIC MULE allowed to settle early on, shifted to the outside of rivals and tracked four wide into the turn, chased to the quarter pole, was outkicked to upper stretch then weakened in the final stages. TENEBRIS was hustled to contest the early pace from the inside, dueled for pace duties into the turn then lost position nearing the quarter marker, could not find more into upper stretch and gave way in the drive. MAGNOLIA MIDNIGHT showed good speed away from the start, contested the pace between rivals along the backstretch, dueled between rivals into the turn then dropped back along the bend, trailed to upper stretch and came up empty in the late stages.
