DATS MY PHARAOH rated just off of the early pace, was well placed to the backstretch and stalked the moderate pace three deep nearing the half-mile, bid three wide into the far turn then vied for the lead at the quarter, took command into upper stretch and kicked clear into the final furlong, drew away into the final sixteenth then was ridden out in the late stages to win as much the best. MAUPANSANT allowed to settle early while never far back, tracked the moderate pace two wide to the half-mile and chased into the far turn, angled three then four wide nearing the top of the stretch, was no match for the winner into the lane but ran on to best the rest for the place. SHOT FOR THE MOON settled outside of rivals early on, coaxed four wide along the backstretch run, gained ground into the far turn then swung five wide to upper stretch, was outkicked into the final furlong but stayed on late to earn the show honors. SALVO TRIGGER was prominent leaving the start, ceded the early lead and stalked the moderate pace to the half-mile, bid between rivals into the far turn and vied for the lead nearing the quarter marker, battled into the stretch, could not find more past the furlong pole and weakened late. UNCLE GREY allowed to settle in the early stages, trailed to the half-mile marker then advanced five wide entering the far turn, got outkicked to the quarter pole, ran on into the stretch and improved position in the late stages. RETURN FIRE sent leaving the start, assumed early command and set the pace to the half-mile, met oncoming bids into the far turn, battled into the stretch, could not hold off oncoming rivals into the final furlong and gave way. WHITE BLUE broke a step slowly, settled while saving ground to the backstretch, lacked the needed response heading into the far turn and did not factor in the stretch drive.
