Footnotes
OUR DAY WILL COME hopped at the break and was away a bit slow, regrouped and was put to coaxing early on, angled out nearing the half, quickly gained outside rivals leaving the three eighths, bid under a ride near the quarter pole, dueled briefly in upper stretch, forged clear under a drive in mid stretch then steadily edged away while kept alert. PRINCE OF DARKNESS , away alertly, bumped with an inner rival soon after the break, vied outside PAUL'S GUITAR, then spurted away a bit leaving the far turn, was met from his outside nearing the lane, battled inside the winner to about mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. PAUL'S GUITAR bobbled at the break then was bumped, sped up between foes and vied to the inside of PRINCE OF DARKNESS, failed to quicken with that one leaving the far turn, dropped back a few lengths past the five sixteenths, shifted out a bit with pursuit into the lane then found more life through the final furlong. RAGING CAJUN , bumped early, was rated back off the leaders then chased outside a rival, failed to kick on between runners leaving the three eighths and faded. MISTER ROSCOE flashed speed then drafted back towards the inside, shifted out to attempt a move then was steadied near the three eighths, faded leaving the five sixteenths and was eased late.
