Footnotes
PASSAGE EAST , away alertly and with the leaders leaving the chute, was rated back heading to the five eighths and tracked a contested pace, crept closer three wide approaching the three eighths, bid three deep in hand leaving the five sixteenths, responded when forging to a slim lead soon into the lane, was under strong encouragement battling nose to nose with an inner TAKETHEMONEYHONEY through the final furlong and grittily earned the narrowest of decisions. TAKETHEMONEYHONEY , bumped at the break, prompted the pace outside DRY POWDER, moved to near even terms leaving the far turn, poked a head in front mid turn then was quickly met by an outer PASSAGE EAST, shifted close to the inner rail while headed near the three sixteenths, fought on valiantly from there and just missed. DRY POWDER broke a bit outward and bumped with TAKETHEMONEYHONEY, corrected and was nudged up to a short lead, handled outer pressure into the lane, sparred inside a pair of foes from the five sixteenths to the quarter pole, failed to kick on with the top pair heading to mid stretch and faded. JUBA'S PARADE broke inward bumping and tightening BOLT ENOREE, straightened and drafted back off the pace and outside a rival, was under pressure around the turn and failed to respond. BOLT ENOREE , bumped and pinched back at the break, saved ground after recovering, failed to muster up a run leaving the far turn and weakened.
