Footnotes
CRAB DADDY , patiently handled saving ground and within range of a contested pace, took closer order after a half, took advantage of an inside path and engaged outer embattled rivals in mid stretch, forged clear under coaxing a sixteenth out then steadily widened under a hand ride. PRADO ROAD took over early and set a rated pace off the inside, was joined leaving the five eighths, dueled two wide and to the inside of WINNING TRIP entering the lane, ceded command near mid stretch then kept on with good effort to reclaim the place through the final yards. WINNING TRIP broke a step slow, regrouped and pulled his was forward, found a seam leaving the five furlong marker and engaged PRADO ROAD from his outside, dueled as things picked up into the lane, moved to a slim lead while on the left lead in mid stretch then was out finished for the place. PUDGE BOY PALACE , three to four wide tracking the dueling leaders, spun four wide and under a ride into the lane, gave futile chase to mid stretch then faded. JAMES P SULLIVAN settled in last but not too far back, was asking three wide into the lane, shifted in and came up empty.
