RAPIDITY broke alertly to show speed between foes then eased back off of a contested pace, tracked then worked between runners past the five sixteenths, edged up three wide under a ride to take aim on MALIBLUE soon into the lane, drew alongside nearing the furlong marker, had his rider drop the crop shortly thereafter, continued doggedly to take over near the sixteenth pole then drew out under an aggressive hand ride. MALIBLUE was sent up soon after the break and disputed the pace towards the inner rail, battled with an outer foe into and around the turn, shook clear past the five sixteenths and was guided out to the two path, dug in when confronted, fought on to the inside of RAPIDITY to about the sixteenth pole, gave way grudgingly and saved the place. TWICE GOLD broke a step slow, was taken to behind rivals, angled out and edged up five wide outside foes mid turn, was fanned seven wide while widest into the stretch, straightened and closed steadily. MEDAGOOCH , brushed at the break, stalked four wide leaving the far turn, was fanned six wide while between runners nearing the stretch, chased to mid stretch then came up empty. SCRAPPY T LEE broke outward brushing MEDAGOOCH, was hustled up soon after and sparred outside MALIBLUE, failed to keep pace past the five sixteenths, wandered outward approaching the stretch and weakened. SQUARE SLICE saved ground and faded.
