JOE THE JET stalked the pace outside horses under a comfortable hold, circled the turn three wide, too the lead under brisk urging in mid stretch then drew off. GUAPONESS went clear soon after the start, saved ground on the turn setting the pace, drifted off the rail in upper stretch and gave way grudgingly. STRAIGHT TO WATER raced in the two path between horses mid way on the turn, remained inside horses through the stretch, switched to his left lead the sixteenth pole and rallied. DOLICE VITA , pinched back leaving the starting gate, accelerated between horses leaving the backstretch, chased the pace and tired. FORMAL AFFAIR bore in leaving the starting gate, circled the turn four wide and gave way on his left lead. ROLL ON JESSE dropped back from between horses on the turn and swung to the five path in upper stretch.
