TAJ MAHAL cleared early and set a rated pace in about the two path, met outer threats leaving the far turn, emerged in a duel to the inside of LET'S GO LANDO heading towards the lane, responded when set down soon after, clung to the advantage under stout left handed asks leaving mid stretch, wandered outward in deep stretch and was unrelenting to the wire. LET'S GO LANDO settled four wide and in range through the backstretch run, edged up and bid three deep past the half, drew alongside the winner with three furlongs remaining, dueled on near even terms through the lane, was floated out three to four paths in the final sixteenth, switched over to his left lead in the final jumps and just missed in a gutsy effort. CLOSE THE GATE broke alertly then dropped off leaders and settled, gathered steam under a ride and boldly move up past the three eighths, pursued the embattled leaders four wide from the head of the lane, shifted out some late but came up empty. NO MORE CALLS settled well back and towards the inside, angled out mid turn, circled five wide into the stretch and had a belated response. HIGHER SENSE stumbled at the break then bumped with an outer foe, regrouped and edged up three wide to stalk, bid between foes to briefly challenge leaving the far turn, was under pressure trying to keep pace past the three eighths then weakened in the drive. G Q WORTHY , bumped at the break, saved ground off the pace, was under a ride mid turn, lacked a punch and faded through the lane.
