Footnotes
UNION FLEET , patiently handled off the pace but not too far back, angled out leaving the far turn and commenced a run, circled with a quick gain past the five sixteenths, continued progress while fanned five wide into the lane, forged past embattled inner rivals heading to mid stretch, spurted clear after two left handed asks then was steadily hand ridden the final seventy yards. DON'T WAIT UP , four then three wide early on, advanced leaving the far turn and had aim on the leader mid turn, was brushed when attempting to bid between rivals into the stretch, regrouped and chased outside a pair of rivals in mid stretch then continued on willingly to be clear for the place. UNCLE CAT broke on top then ceded to an inner foe while firmly rated, was brushed by an outer advancing SUPER ACCELERATE near the five eighths, dropped inside after that one cleared into the turn, chased along the inner rail into the stretch but lacked the needed finish. SUPER ACCELERATE, backed into the starting gate, broke inward to be away last, corrected and pulled his way forward between runners, brushed with an inner foe after about a quarter mile went clear heading to the turn and set the pace two wide, was joined past the five sixteenths, drifted out a bit entering the lane making contact with DON'T WAIT UP, straightened to chase on between horses in mid stretch, faded late but picked things up a bit in the gallop out. DEVIL'S CAY rated off heels while saving ground leaving the chute, eased out and edged up between runners near the half, failed to keep pace mid turn, angled out and faded. BROTHER CONWAY disputed the early pace inside, eased back off the leader heading to the turn, remained inside without a response past the five sixteenths and weakened.
