CATALEYA STRIKE stalked between rivals, dropped back under coaxing leaving the three eighths, worked outward for a clear run into the stretch, straightened away and picked things back up past the three sixteenths, closed in under left handed asks, joined the embattled leaders from the outside in deep stretch then forged past in the final yards. UNION FLEET broke a bit slow, recovered and moved up four wide outside rivals into and around the first turn, tracked three deep nearing the far turn, dropped in a bit and moved to engage REGALO nearing the quarter pole, dueled then poked a head in front nearing the furlong grounds, kept on gamely and just missed between runners. REGALO , beat the gate, vied outside WILD VINE before being nursed clear leaving the seven eighths, dropped in and set a rated pace, dug in when joined with a quarter to go, was put to a stern drive soon after, sparred to the inside of UNION FLEET through the final three sixteenths then gave way grudgingly through the final strides. WILD VINE prompted the pace while inside a pair of rivals, was under pressure pursuing past the three eighths and faded. CRABS N BEER was steadied to the inside of rivals entering the first turn, regrouped and raced in range behind a trio of runners, angled out around the far turn, made a mild move past the three eighths, failed to kick on under pressure leaving the five sixteenths and faded.
