FIGHTERTOWN drifted out soon after the break then was corrected while clearing, set the pace in about the two path, was under a solid ride as DAUFUSKIE ISLAND took closer order past the five sixteenths, drifted out to about the four path when engaged soon into the stretch then lost command heading to the furlong grounds, straightened under right handed asks, battled back to regain command a sixteenth out then edged clear at the wire. DAUFUSKIE ISLAND tracked three wide under rating, edged up in hand mid turn, went on the attack five wide outside FIGHTERTOWN entering the stretch, drifted out a bit while dueling and on a slim lead near mid stretch, ceded the advantage a sixteenth out then gave way stubbornly through the final yards. ROB THE RICH lagged back off the pace, was under a hearty ride mid turn, eased out for the drive, advanced between runners leaving mid stretch and steadily gained. PIT STOP MAN chased four then three wide, was outside a rival mid turn and failed to generate a serious stretch response. MISTER AGENT , well placed stalking towards the inner rail, failed to kick on under pressure in upper stretch and faded. An objection by the rider of DAUFUSKIE ISLAND against the winner alleging interference in the stretch was not allowed
