Footnotes
MISTICAL CURLIN tracked inside, sat patiently leaving the three eighths, worked outward and found room three to four wide into the lane, drifted in a bit while ranging up in mid stretch, corrected with left handed asking, forged to command with about a sixteenth to go and drew clear. COLLECTION DAY was sent clear early, set the pace towards the inner rail while coaxed along, met an outer threat from WHAT DOES IT TAKE entering the far turn, sparred on a slim lead around the turn and into the lane, spurted clear under a drive in mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. BE BETTER , towards the inside while not far back heading to the five eighths, angled out and was put to pressure leaving the far turn, circled five wide into the stretch, straightened away past three sixteenths and churned on. CATATUMBO lagged off the pace and off the inside, angled five to six wide for the drive and closed belatedly. SELF TAUGHT , off the pace while saving ground, remained inside and advanced nearing mid stretch but failed to sustain through the final seventy yards. WHAT DOES IT TAKE prompted the pace outside the leader, moved up to engage nearing the far turn, dueled from the three eighths, was unable to keep pace while ridden along in mid stretch and faded. SAILOR'S RETURN pulled his way forward outside rivals nearing the five eighths and stalked, was under pressure three to four wide pursuing into the stretch, lacked a punch in mid stretch and faded. TIBERIUS MERCURIUS , four wide to contention, stalked three wide past the five eighths, failed to go on under a ride exiting the far turn and tired.
