HIXON , up close three wide on the turn, moved up outside BALA DE PLATA turning for home, was carried to seven path by that one in upper stretch, wrested command near the eighth pole and drew away under brisk urging. BALA DE PLATA went clear in hand leaving the chute, stayed in the two path on the turn, drifted to the six path in upper stretch, was hooked in mid stretch and gave way. DANCING DENAE lacked speed, raced in the two path on the turn and failed to be a factor. NO MORE CALLS remained along the inner rail throughout and dropped back through the stretch.
