Footnotes
QUINT'S BREW bumped a rival at the start but was quick to take the lead, set the pace facing outside pressure racing just off the rail, floated out leaving the turn, brushed with the outside foe in mid-stretch, was headed by that one nearing the sixteenth pole brushing again but dug in and was resurgent. BLUE KINGDOM was outsprinted early, was encouraged to move closer past the seven-sixteenths, fanned five wide into upper stretch gaining on the leader, was lightly bumped by that one in mid- and late-stretch while making a bid, had a short head in front near the sixteenth pole but was outfinished. S S SINATRA chased from outside four wide, was no match for the top pair. SUREMEANTTOOBE was lightly bumped at the start, pressed briefly from between foes, dropped back and shifted in, offered no late bid.
