POOR PEANUT went clear soon after the break, set the pace just off the inside while nudged along, responded to firmer asking soon into the lane, opened up in mid stretch and held firm while kept alert. Q GOT HOPS edged up four wide outside a pair of rivals nearing the half, gave hard chase three wide around the turn, could not quicken with the winner past the the three sixteenths but continued on willingly to be clearly second best. BABBLE settled off the pace while saving ground, advanced inside a rival mid turn, angled well off the rail in upper stretch, split horses and finished with interest. TUG stalked between runners heading to the half, shifted out nearing the lane, swerved outward from left handed asking in upper stretch, straightened past mid stretch and came up empty. RIO DEL VALLE was hard used towards the inside, chased to the head of the stretch and faded. STAY FEARLESS failed to keep pace.
