LAST GIFT vied between rivals early on, exited the far turn with a short lead two wide with outer pressure, shook clear leaving the five sixteenths, opened up under strong handling in mid stretch then held firm while kept to task. HOTMESSNESS drafted back off the contested early pace and settled in the clear, came under a serious ride leaving the three eighths, shifted towards the inner rail in upper stretch, made a grinding run through the final furlong and just nabbed the place. DISNEY BELLE disputed the early pace inside a pair of foes, steadied back off the leaders into the turn, regrouped to make an inside run past the five sixteenths, shifted out three wide into the lane, chased willingly through the final eighth but was nipped for second by an inner HOTMESSNESS. MY GIRL BACK HOME , urged up early and joined the pace three deep, pressed outside the winner around the turn, shifted out four wide into the lane, failed to kick on past the three sixteenths and faded. CAMPAIGN MISCHIEF dropped well off the pace in the opening quarter mile and failed to generate a response.
