Footnotes
N. Y. FINEST , in hand behind horses leaving the backstretch while well off the duel, eased outside mid way on the turn, closed determinedly outside BRUNO, took the lead near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. BRUNO , under urging after breaking last, dueled outside R J'S ICE, went clear in upper stretch and finished gamely. BIG TIGER stayed along the inner rail on the turn, moved to the two path in upper stretch and split horses near the sixteenth pole. KISS THE RING , two wide off the duel around the turn, angled out in mid stretch and weakened. R J'S ICE hugged the inner rail, dueled to the stretch then tired.
