DOLLY'S JOLENE popped right to the front, set a rated pace in about the two path, kept outer rivals at bay leaving the five sixteenths, responded to firm asking through the drive, drifted in slightly near mid stretch, corrected and proved resolute to the wire. MAGGIE'S MOON prompted the pace while saving ground, eased back off the leader leaving the far turn, came back on along the rail and inside rivals heading to the lane, could not find significant room from upper stretch to about the sixteenth pole, altered out and finished gamely. ASHWEEE broke a step slow, regrouped and advanced four wide outside runners nearing the half, was under pressure three deep pursuing past the five sixteenths, chased on to mid stretch then flattened out. EMMA MERMAID drafted in behind foes leaving the five eighths, was under asking in the clear mid turn, swung out wide for the drive but could only generate a mild response. GRIPEN responded when coaxed soon after the break, moved up three wide to attend the pace, chased between rivals past the five sixteenths, lacked a punch past the three sixteenths and faded. PRINCESS CHARMING failed to keep pace then retreated through the drive.
