Footnotes
FREEZE THE FIRE broke on top then was rated back off the outer speed ceding a few lengths leaving the five eighths, worked outward leaving the half, cruised up three deep mid turn, forged clear four wide soon after, responded when shaken up nearing mid stretch then held firm while solidly hand ridden the final seventy yards. JOLLY BY GOLLY drafted back off the early pace, angled out, circled five wide with an advance into the lane, gave game chase from there and was clearly best of the rest. BROTHER CONWAY edged up early and stalked about three wide, raced between runners near the five sixteenths, shifted in leaving the three sixteenths but failed to generate a serious finish. SEVEN'S ELEVEN , bumped and pinched back at the break, regrouped and settled off the early pace, threaded his way between runners mid turn, angled five wide with pursuit into the stretch then flattened out through the final furlong. DADDY YANKEE , off the pace and five wide, remained well wide into the stretch then offered a belated response. ARTILLERY GUNNAR , jostled at the start, saved ground, eased out in the drive but failed to threaten. LADDIE DANCE bore out at the break soundly bumping ARTILLERY GUNNAR, dropped off the pace and raced off the rail leaving the far turn, angled out, circled six wide into the stretch but failed to kick on. QUICK TEMPO drifted in at the break bumping with a foe, corrected and edged up inside, was lightly steadied off the leader nearing the half, idled some mid turn then faded after being called upon. NIGHT PREACHER sped clear of inner foes, tapered in to set the pace, was overwhelmed leaving the five sixteenths and faltered.
