Footnotes
SPENCER TIARA sprinted clear after lightly brushing with WEEKEND WIFE leaving the starting gate, set a comfortable pace along the inner rail, pulled away through the stretch and was under brisk urging. WEEKEND WIFE , three wide the first turn, stayed in the four path down the backstretch while well off the pace, circled the far turn four wide and rallied mildly outside rivals. BOURBON N LACE , kept within range of the winner down the backstretch, raced in the two path between horses on the far turn and weakened in the drive. MEG stayed along the rail throughout, chased the winner and weakened through the stretch. NANCY MARY , steadied in tight quarters along the inner rail entering the first turn, was unhurried down the backstretch, raced in the three path between horses the far turn and gave way in upper stretch.
