LANNISTER , with the pace three deep and under rating, moved to a slim lead mid turn, emerged in a duel outside REGENCY TALE into the lane, asserted himself after being set down soon after then steadily pulled away while kept to solid handling. REGENCY TALE disputed the pace to the inside of a pair of a rivals, exited the quarter pole under a hustling ride battling with the winner, faded through the final sixteenth but remained well clear of the rest. DIVINE SWAGGER broke outward, corrected and settled in the clear and off of a three pronged pace scrum, angled four wide to take closer order past the five sixteenths, failed to kick on past the three sixteenths and weakened. KITTY'S SON lagged off the pace while saving ground early on, angled four wide for the drive but failed to muster up a rally. FREE COSTS TO MUCH was nudged up to join the pace fray, sparred between runners and held a narrow advantage heading to the turn, could not keep pace after a half mile and faltered.
