SKIP THRU DA FIRE broke sharp then ceded command to an inner rival, drafted back from between runners leaving the half mile marker, angled out five wide for the drive, leveled off under pressure in mid stretch, rolled past ROYAL SEAMSTRESS in deep stretch then edged clear in the final yards. ROYAL SEAMSTRESS prompted the pace three deep near the half, moved up when cued and engaged LADY CHARLOTTE from her outside, sparred on near even terms into the lane, shook clear under asking in mid stretch, kept on gamely but was unable to deny the winner's outer charge. LOST RIVER had speed inside then rated back off the clearing leader, remained inside around the turn while stalking, angled four wide into the stretch, chased on but finished evenly. LADY CHARLOTTE , off a beat slow, was hustled up soon after to take over and clear heading to the half, set the pace in about the two path, dueled from mid turn to upper stretch then weakened through the final sixteenth.
