Footnotes
BLO BY'EM settled off the early duel while saving ground, edged up into the far turn and continued inside progress near mid turn, worked outward and bid four wide outside EDLEWEISS, took over soon into the lane, kicked clear under a drive past the three sixteenths, switched over to his correct lead and eagerly widened while kept alert. EDELWEISS accelerated inside rivals leaving the chute and joined the pace fray, dueled with an outer pair before going clear into the turn, wandered outward when engaged by the winner nearing the lane, corrected, pursued from mid stretch, faded but managed to save the place. RIGHT OF RUSH stalked the contested pace, gave chase from the inside in upper stretch but failed to muster up the needed rally. UNCLE GREY lagged off the pace, came five wide for the drive and passed tiring foes. RETURN FIRE vied three deep for the opening three furlongs, stayed around after EDELWEISS cleared, was under pressure pursuing into the stretch then weakened through the final three sixteenths. CHRISTMAS SPIRIT was hard sent from the gate and disputed the early pace between runners, failed to keep pace mid turn and faltered. SIN SIN gave early chase off the rail and weakened.
