NOTED saved ground, moved up under coaxing past the five sixteenths, eased out a bit then shifted back in entering the lane, engaged outer foes leaving the furlong grounds, poked a head in front with a sixteenth remaining and dug in under strong handling to prevail. TOPS THE CHART broke slowly, recovered and settled off the pace while saving some ground, edged up between runners into the far turn, shifted back in towards the rail with a run, engage the leader from the inside nearing the lane then was guided out a path or two, sparred between runners through the final sixteenth and kept on gamely. STRIKING SPARKS , three wide early, ranged up and bid five wide outside rivals entering the lane, held a slim lead dueling outside TOPS THE CHART nearing the furlong grounds, battled on three deep inside the sixteenth marker then gave way stubbornly. MOSLER TIME , off the pace, steadied when put in close leaving the five eighths, worked outward in the drive and had belated action. CAP COM lost ground four to five wide and failed to make an impact. FROSTY THE GIANT went free running early and opened up a long lead, set the pace off the inside, was hooked from the inside leaving the five sixteenths and weakened. HOLY SYNCHRONICITY was squeezed back soon after the start, lost ground four wide early and faltered.
