Footnotes
R AVERIE LYNN broke inward, corrected and cleared early, set the pace off the inside, dug in when hooked past the five sixteenths, lost the advantage to COULD BE A COUGAR soon into the lane, battled back from the inside while under strong handling, reclaimed command heading to the sixteenth marker then edged back clear at the wire. COULD BE A COUGAR , bumped at the break, rushed up soon after and angled out to stalk, moved three wide and from the outside to bid around the turn, gained a slim lead in upper stretch, clung to the front while sparring towards the furlong grounds, failed to match strides with the winner past the sixteenth pole, gave way grudgingly while gathered up a bit near the wire, walked onto the equine ambulance following a shortened gallop out and was transported off the track. SKIP THRU DA FIRE bobbled at the break then steadied briefly when in close, regrouped and rushed up five wide outside rivals leaving the far turn, chased from the quarter pole and churned on. BOOK OF WISDOM drifted out a bit at the break and made contact with COULD BE A COUGAR, corrected and saved ground while within range, made an inside run entering the stretch, shifted out with pursuit to the inside of SKIP THRU DA FIRE then flattened out. WATCH YOUR TONE , four wide between runners chasing the pace, was out paced soon into the lane, shifted in, found some more through the final sixteenth and kept on well through the gallop out. ALWAYS FORWARD drafted back off of rivals early and failed to menace. SAPPHIRE BEAUTY , a bit fractious in the gate, was brushed at the start, chased between rivals, was shuffled into the turn and weakened.
