WICKEDDIVINE , away well, stalked the leader while three wide, was pushed along past the five sixteenths, closed determinedly under strong handling, reeled in SHADOW SURGE nearing the sixteenth pole then drew clear at the wire. SHADOW SURGE sped clear early, set the pace off the inside, drifted out from left handed asking in mid stretch, dug in when confronted, fought on to deep stretch then gave way grudgingly. FEAR NOTHING , forwardly placed between rivals, was under asking mid turn, shifted in for the drive, pursued past mid stretch then came up empty. OUTDOOR CAT , brushed at the start and away a bit slow, regrouped and edged up between foes leaving the five eighths, angled out into the turn then briefly tapped the brakes, was under a solid ride past the five sixteenths, shifted out five wide and gathered some steam late. WINNING TRIP stalked inside, idled off heels near the quarter pole, remained inside while on his left lead past mid stretch then faded. PUDGE BOY PALACE , taken to rate while saving ground past the five eighths, worked outward in the drive and had belated interest. AND SUM bore in on a foe leaving the gate and exchanged a bump, drifted in soon after tightening HOLIDAY EXPRESS, was used four wide leaving the far turn and reached contention, chased three deep mid turn, failed to kick on in upper stretch then retreated. HOLIDAY EXPRESS , bumped at the break, checked when in close soon after, dropped off the pace and failed to menace. AGREED, fractious in the gate, was bumped and put in tight at the break, regrouped and was rated along well off the pace, came three wide for the drive and was eased late. There was a stewards' inquiry into the start. No action was deemed necessary.
