ITALIAN SOIREE saved ground on the turn, worked outside at the head of the stretch, swept to command near the eighth pole and drew clear under brisk urging. EPIC STYLE bumped with GETAWAY PALACE and BURNER ACCOUNT at the start, hugged the inner rail around the turn, moved to the two pat in upper stretch and gamely split horses inside the eighth pole. MISCHIEF MAXEY chased the pace, was well positioned in the three path turning for home, stayed on her left lead and weakened. SALLY'S GOLD prompted HOWLER, was over hauled in mid stretch and weakened. GETAWAY PALACE bumped with EPIC STYLE leaving the starting gate, circled the turn three wide and failed to rally. BURNER ACCOUNT bumped with EPIC STYLE at the start then drifted wide on the turn. HOWLER set the pace along the inner rail and faltered the final furlong. ANAITA hit the outside of her starting gate stall then trailed.
