WHAT SAY THEE rated kindly while saving ground in range of the leaders, eased out three to four wide in upper stretch, closed nicely under some right handed asks, drifted in slightly when engaging inner embattled foes leaving the furlong marker, corrected and eagerly drew clear under steady hand encouragement. SARDIS , three wide early, tracked under rating, moved up to the outside of HITTHEROADJAK leaving the five sixteenths, dueled, held a slim advantage past the furlong grounds, was unable to contain the winner but dug in to preserve the place. HITTHEROADJAK , bumped at the break, straightened and moved up between runners to take over early and then clear, set a rated pace towards the inside, dug in when joined a quarter mile from home, sparred with SARDIS past the furlong grounds and kept on with good courage. RAMPAGIUS drafted back off the pace while saving ground, moved up inside foes into the far turn, was urged along pursuing past the five sixteenths, came out late and kept on and finished willingly. RECKER POINT settled in rang while off the inside, gained three wide past the five sixteenths, chased from there but lacked a serious finish. KING'S RIVER , steadied when a bit headstrong heading into the first turn, pulled his way between foes near the half, angled five wide for the drive and continued with effort. SMUGGLER'S GOLD broke inward bumping with a rival, settled back off the pace, was under asking leaving the far turn but failed to menace. RUDDY BUDDY lost ground four wide early on, shifted out six wide under pressure nearing the lane, faded then was transported off the track via the equine ambulance.
