TAJ MAHAL accelerated to the early lead and was taken to the inner rail, opened a long lead mid way down the backstretch, was given a breather entering the far turn, then responded when asked turning for home and eagerly pulled away under vigorous rousing. WILD WARRIOR bumped with CHAYTON at the start, saved ground the first turn, eased out three wide leaving the far turn and finished willingly. LET'S GO LANDO , moved to the inner rail entering the first turn, remained along the rail and lacked the necessary late effort. VOLENDAM bumped with CHAYTON leaving the starting gate, advanced in the two path entering the far turn and tired in the stretch. HIXON was unhurried early, swung four wide at the head of the stretch and finished willingly outside foes. CODE OF SILENCE raced in mid pack down the backstretch, was in the two path on the far turn and gave way. HIGHER SENSE , three wide the first turn, circled the far turn four deep and gave way. CLOSE THE GATE was never a factor. CLASSIC NOFTY , shuffled back approaching the first turn was outrun. CHAYTON , jostled on both sides at the start, was outrun.
